I confess that I'm hard to please and even harder to impress, and the team from Total Home Improvements did both. I thought there was no way they could get the work done in a day - they did it in 2.5 hours and it looks fantastic. Total Home Improvements renovated our master bathroom and our kitchen. We chose to have both projects running simultaneously so we were in it for the long haul. Matt was our design/sales consultant and Jason was our project manager. Every professional who contributed their skills to this job was courteous, did excellent work, and cleaned up when they finished their part. We also had Brandy as our selection specialist. I call her our personal shopper. Her input and expertise was so helpful and shopping with her was fun! We had previously used Total Home several years back when a tree feel on our house. So Kenny Brown from Total was who we thought of to do our bathroom renovation. They did an amazing job. Jason was there to explain every step along the way. Turned out better then we thought. My husband and I initially met Frank Griffin in 2017 when we were contemplating installing new French doors in our kitchen, as well as updating a bath/shower in our guest bath. Frank was great about offering different approaches and estimates. He listened, took time, was never a hard sell. As happens, life and finances ended up putting our projects on the back burner, but we always remembered Frank and his professionalism so we saved all of his information. Fast forward to 2024, with various repairs and improvements now desired we knew Frank and THI were our go-to. Frank remembered us immediately and at our consult we picked up right where we left off years earlier. Over many months in 2024, as well as just recently, the crew at THI brought our home dreams to life. Among the many projects they completed were an inviting new bath & shower in our guest bath; removing an existing window in our kitchen and installing stunning new French doors which open onto our deck…creating an entirely new focal point and feeling; finishing our deck as we moved from wood to composite; installing new deck rails and skirting; installing a gorgeous new front door; expanding an existing kitchen cabinet to accommodate a new larger refrigerator which I had foolishly measured incorrectly (Frank will forever tease me); installing a new side garage door; hanging new exterior shutters; and various interior & exterior painting. My biggest thanks goes out for the kindness and speed at which they transformed our downstairs master bedroom & bath into a safe and pretty space for my Mom who, now elderly and handicapped, was weeks away from moving in with us.THI knocked out new flooring, repositioned a large cabinet, and installed plenty of grab bars in record time. It made our transition with Mom so much easier. The crew at THI made a lot of the organized chaos fun, and the guys today do feel like extended family. Yes, there were unforeseen delays sometimes. Yes, it’s loud and messy. It’s contracting, it’s home improvement, not a garden party. But in the end, all definitely worth it. We love the look and feel of our home now more than ever. We have neighbors who ask about the work we’ve had done and are kind enough to offer their compliments. We appreciate that and recommend THI as often as we can.
