Sean Thompson, Production Manager
Sean Thompson started as a project manager for Total Home Improvements and now heads the production team as Production Manager. Beginning his construction career in Alaska, Sean is a trim carpenter by trade who has worked as a contractor for over 29 years in seven different states in commercial and both single-family and multi-family residential construction.
Sean likes hiking, travel, golf, and reading. An avid theater enthusiast, Sean volunteers as an actor, set designer, and board member at Little Theater Norfolk and has been an active volunteer for Amnesty International, the Animal Welfare League, and The Haven.
Barry Ballard, Production Coordinator
Barry puts his 18+ years’ experience to support his Project Mangers, meet with home owners, and help get our projects across the finish line. He not only is concerned that jobs get done on-time, but also about the homeowner’s satisfaction and the quality work.
For the most part, evening and weekends, you will find Barry spending time with his kids.
Douglas Burmeister, Production Coordinator
For more than 23 years, Douglas has brought quality, dependability, trust and cleanliness to his work in construction. As dependable as they come and a good communicator, he is an efficient Project Manager able to work well with and develop lasting relationships with homeowners.
It’s been a while since Jim Kelley led the Buffalo Bill’s to 4 consecutive Super Bowls, but that hasn’t stopped Douglas from being an avid Bills fan. Maybe next year!
Richard Sullivan, Quality Control & Warranty Coordinator
Bringing more than 40 years’ experience in the construction industry, Richard is expertly knowledgeable in all aspects of construction from the ground up. In addition to English,
Richard is fluent in French, possesses both business management and culinary degrees, and has a Journeyman Certificate in Carpentry.
He is a Dallas Cowboys fan and also loves to hunt; however, his passions are his fishing on his boat and his two-year-old grandson Lucas. He also served in the Army 82nd Airborne, 1st of 504th Company A for 3 years.
Stefanie Boardman, Office Manager (AKA: Chaos Coordinator)
Stefanie has been with THI since 2018. Originally hired as a selection specialist, after a year at THI, she transitioned into the Office Manager Role. Despite the demands of her office role, she still helps with our New Construction buyers selections.
Stefanie loves her job and also Total Home - she enjoys the interaction with customers and providing MVP assistance to her coworkers.
When not at work, you can often find her at the beach.
